I'm trying to reuse some of the original glass, so that proves tricky as the pieces are quite small. I'm also not terribly skilled at it - having only done a 5 day course nearly 3 years ago.

After this panel is finished, I've got another one to do. *Can't wait face*

Ali x Alison Crosshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06565962059926865121noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4776380217462070463.post-10366008255247523822013-02-08T23:39:13.637+00:002013-02-08T23:39:13.637+00:00I seem to be getting quite a lot of experience at ...I seem to be getting quite a lot of experience at slashed fingers myself and can't recommend the merits of superglue and second skin highly enough. The baby dying was sad - the camera man said that there was just no way to help it - if they had waded in, it would have stressed the mother enormously and even then, there was simply nothing for it to eat to keep going. Very sad - I had a bit of a weep at that one too. Also that weird bird - the shoebill - had a weep at that.....
Alison Crosshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06565962059926865121noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4776380217462070463.post-55449567455476240662013-02-08T14:34:28.004+00:002013-02-08T14:34:28.004+00:00Are there not special glubs for working with glass...Are there not special glubs for working with glass ? I am quite enjoying it, even with the blood loss and the glass grinding and the tiny bits that end up in your fleece so that when you are watching TV later in the evening you can STILL give yourself a bit bloody cut :-D

Ali x Alison Crosshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06565962059926865121noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4776380217462070463.post-31729629622787245932013-02-08T13:35:04.100+00:002013-02-08T13:35:04.100+00:00Brilliant--although try to get it finished before ...Brilliant--although try to get it finished before you lose *all* your fingers.
