Just the one. It used to sit in the doorway while I was watching TV and stare at me. I looked on the internet how to make a trap. I tried this cardboard box contraption but it didn't work. In the end I built some steps out of magazines and put a high sided waste paper bin next to them with cheese and peanut butter in. The next morning there it was, desperately trying to bounce back up the sides of the bin. We gave it some more food and put a glass saucepan lid on the bin while we drove it down to the park and let it go. It ran straight into a hole in the base of a tree we left watching it's little face poking out. It was a bit of a pallaver but I couldn't face finding a dead one xxChristina @ Fashion's Most Wantedhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06583201549332262341noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4776380217462070463.post-3903568858701293032010-08-20T18:55:16.624+01:002010-08-20T18:55:16.624+01:00Could be worse...

We have beautifully decorative air bricks in the house foundations and I'm sure that's where they are coming in.<br /><br />It used to be that when it was very cold they would come in....and then they would go away again.<br /><br />As Tertarus has pointed out to me, you never catch A mouse, you catch MICE and they breed like rabbits. Pardon my mixed metaphors!.<br /><br />LM - carpet beetles sound awful. We did have moths at one point - mice are so much worse because they are mammals. And hugely cute mammals at that :-(<br /><br /> <br />Ali xAlison Crosshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06565962059926865121noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4776380217462070463.post-76944399530916382082010-08-20T12:45:54.865+01:002010-08-20T12:45:54.865+01:00Oh noooo.
